A number of other states, including Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha, have reported fatalities. The Meteorological Department has issued a heat wave alert at the same time as the intense heat. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be more intense heatwaves for one or two days.

In numerous states around the nation, there have been reports of fatalities brought on by extreme heat. The intense heat in Gaya, Bihar, has claimed the lives of three individuals. Simultaneously, Jharkhand and Odisha are also experiencing the heat wave. The following day after Jharkhand saw the deaths of 23 people in one day, a heat wave in Hunterganj, Chatra district, claimed the lives of 5 individuals, including 3 residents of the same hamlet.

Regarding the weather, Soma Sen, an IMD scientist, reported that in the past 24 hours, heatwaves in Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha have claimed numerous lives. He hinted that the heat wave condition in some locations would progressively end starting tomorrow. In the meantime, numerous other states, including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand, have also been placed on an orange warning for today, Friday. According to IMD, the heat index is expected to slightly decrease tomorrow, or on Saturday. As a result, the orange alert will remain in effect across the majority of these states, including Punjab, Haryana, and Odisha.

According to the IMD, there will soon be a break from the intense heat. due to the fact that the southwest monsoon has spread across the majority of sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Tripura, Meghalaya, the remaining portions of Assam, and the remainder of the northeastern Bay of Bengal. The southwest monsoon is expected to continue spreading into the central Arabian Sea, the remaining portions of the South Arabian Sea, the Lakshadweep region, Kerala, portions of Karnataka, additional portions of Tamil Nadu, and the southwest Bay of Bengal.

Lakshadweep, Kerala, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Sikkim, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Northeast India may have mild to moderate rain during the course of the next 24 hours, with heavy rain in certain locations, according to the Skymet Weather forecast. It may rain lightly to moderately in the coastal and southern interior regions of Karnataka, northeastern Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and the western Himalayas. across addition, there is a chance of dust storms, rain, and thunderstorms across Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan during the course of the next two days.
