Usually, police assist the victim's family and settle any outstanding issues; however, in this instance, the exact reverse occurred. The individual who approached the police for assistance was severely assaulted by the officers using sticks.


Youngsters severely hurt after being beaten

This beating severely damaged young Amit Kumar Das. He is in serious condition and has been admitted to Sadar Hospital. He has filed a complaint against RN Thakur, the in-charge of the Kenduadih police station, and a few other police officers for beating and wounding him with SSP Hrideep P Janardhanan.


In response to the youth's accusation, the SSP discussed departmental action against the police station in charge and gave DSP Law and Order Deepak Kumar the task of conducting the case's inquiry. Amit's lower back has enlarged as a result of the stick pounding.


The young man went to his in-laws' home to settle his disagreement with his spouse.


The young person hurt The resident of Rajganj Das Tola is Amit. In his written complaint, he informed the SSP that he and his wife were at odds.


His wife Jaya Kumari and her kid had visited her mother's house in Godhar Das Tola, near the Kenduadih police station, a few days prior. He and his father Manilal Das went to his in-laws' home on Monday in order to resolve the conflict and bring his wife home.


At the in-laws' place, the two parties were conversing with one another. In the meantime, two or three lads from Amit's in-laws' home, including Rooplal Das and Anand Das, as well as the son of his elder uncle's father-in-law, Rajan Das, began beating them. When his father witnessed them fighting, he called 100 to alert the police.


Police assaulted the young man with sticks and forced him to suck spittle.

After learning of the incident, the police arrived on the scene and took the father and son to the Kenduadih police station. Rajan Das also arrived at the police station after a while. He spoke with RN Thakur, the in-charge of the police station. Following this, Thakur, the in-charge of the police station, arrived with a few other officers and began abusing him.


The head of the police station and the officers then gave him a hundred or more beatings beneath his back with sticks. In addition, they forced him to suck spit. Additionally, the in-charge of the police station called him a lower caste, which was an insult.


They did not heed to his relative Bablu Das's appeals or the requests of some of the Godhar locals who were present, and they severely beat him.


He received criminal treatment. He was made to sign a PR bond and was eventually freed when the beating caused his health to worsen. At around two in the morning, his father noticed him moaning in pain and brought him to Sadar Hospital.


Wife reports injured youth to the police for dowry harassment



In response to the event, Jaya Kumari Das has filed a report with the Kenduadih police station alleging assault and dowry harassment against her husband Amit Kumar Das, as well as her mother-in-law, father-in-law, and other family members.


She stated that there was an argument about the farewell with her husband, father-in-law, and other people on Sunday. Both the girl's injuries from the fight and those from Kenduadih Primary Health Center in Karkend were sent to SNMMCH.


The girl's 48-year-old father, Rooplal Das, 42-year-old mother, Lakshmi Devi, 18-year-old brother, Jai Kumar Das, 24-year-old cousin, Anand Das, and 34-year-old Rajendra Das were all hurt in this assault.


In her complaint, Jaya Kumari Das has accused her husband Amit Kumar Das, who lives in Mairakuli, Rajganj police station, of abusing her for dowry. She has accused her father-in-law Manilal Das, brother-in-law Ankit Kumar Das, mother-in-law Babita Devi, and husband's maternal uncle Baijnath Das, who lives in Govindpur, Amarpur.


"We have the youth's application on file. DSP Law and Order Deepak Kumar has been in charge of the case's overall investigation.
