Stock Market: Since early trading on Thursday, October 3, 2024, the recent attacks by Israel on Lebanon have generated fear in the domestic stock market. The main sensitive index of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the Sensex, opened 1,264.2 points lower at 83,002.09 points. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty dropped 208.05 points to 25,588.85 points at the same moment. Earlier on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the Nifty on the NSE closed slightly lower by 0.01% at 25,807.35, and the Sensex closed down 33 points at 84,266.29.

Other financial institutions that are experiencing negative trading include Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, TCS, Bajaj Finserv, Nestle India, Power Grid, Bajaj Finance, HCL Technologies, Adani Ports, Bharti Airtel, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Tech Mahindra, and State Bank of India.
