Sangeeta Kumari traveled from Gopalganj, Bihar, to Prayagraj with her mother. The plans to take Amrit Snan on Mauni Amavasya got underway on Wednesday morning. At about two o'clock on Tuesday evening, a stampede occurred at Sangam Nose. This rush claimed a lot of lives. Numerous persons suffered injuries. Shivkali Devi, Sangeeta's mother, also perished in this disaster. Shivkali Devi's body will now return to her village, but Sangeeta Kumari had transported her mother to Mahakumbh to grant her wish. The village is in grief.

Shivkali Devi, 65, the late Tarkeshwar Singh's wife from the Barauli block of the Gopalganj district, perished in the Prayagraj Mahakumbh stampede. About nine years have passed since Shivkali Devi's husband passed away. Her two boys reside overseas. She and her daughter had traveled to Prayagraj for a Kumbh bath. However, Tuesday night's stampede claimed her life.

Mahakumbh News: According to Sangeeta from Prayagraj, her father passed away nine years ago. Both brothers reside overseas. She considered bringing her mother to Mahakumbh for religious, charitable, and bathing purposes. She and her mother arrived there. It was about 1:30 in the evening when she arrived at Sangam Ghat to take a bath, and the place was packed. Due to a sadhus convoy going by, the gathering unexpectedly grew. The stampede killed her mother.
The granddaughter shared the news of her grandmother's passing.
The granddaughter of Shivakali Devi accompanied her to Prayagraj. According to the girl, she was present together with her grandma and mother. A sudden jostling caused many people to fall. The throng got out of control and we got stuck. There was no way out of it. Everywhere there was jostling. We learned that granny had passed away after a while.
