Jharkhand politics: Despite winning one ST and three SC seats, the BJP's central leadership failed in Jharkhand.

Jharkhand politics:
The BJP in Jharkhand also underperformed in 2019. It only has 21 seats this time, compared to 25 in 2019. The BJP lost the most seats in the ST, where it was only able to secure one seat.

Jharkhand politics:(Ranchi) Sunil Kumar Jha: Following the loss in the 2019 assembly elections, the BJP's attempts to win elections in Jharkhand appear to be failing. In 2014, the NDA alliance achieved full majority for the first time since the state's creation. The state's first non-tribal chief minister was then Raghuvar Das. When the 2019 assembly elections were held, the party lost control. After winning 37 seats in 2014, the BJP now only holds 25 seats. The BJP has been fighting to restore its lost ground in the state ever since, but in the most recent election, its graph fell even lower than it did in 2019.

Only one ST seat was won by the BJP.

When it came to seats set aside for Scheduled Tribes, the BJP lost the most. In 2019, the BJP lost 12 seats in all. Nine of these seats belonged to Scheduled Tribes. In the most recent election, the party secured two ST reserved seats. Following this, the party incorporated numerous tribal leaders from various parties, but this did not help. In this election, only one seat was gained.

On the SC reserved seat, the BJP's seat was reduced.

Five seats designated for Scheduled Castes were won by the BJP in 2019. The BJP won three seats in this election. Amar Bauri, the leader of the opposition, did not participate in this election. He finished in third place. The BJP lost a seat like Kanke, which it had held for the previous 34 years. This time, the BJP, which had won Chhatarpur's elections twice in a succession, was unable to retain the seat.

Geeta Koda continued to be ineffectual.

Large tribal figures from other parties were incorporated into the BJP from the 2024 Lok Sabha to the assembly elections. The wife of former chief minister Madhu Koda, Geeta Koda, was admitted to the party at Kolhan. On a Congress ticket, Geeta Koda was elected MP from the Singhbhum Lok Sabha seat in 2019. Geeta Koda ran as a BJP candidate this year but lost. She was then nominated by the party for the Jagannathpur seat in the assembly elections. The elections for the assembly were also lost by her.

Champai Soren was only able to save his seat because his wizardry failed.

Former chief minister Champai Soren joined the BJP prior to the assembly elections, but he was also unable to work any magic in Kolhan. His son lost, but he himself prevailed. Likewise, Sita Soren and Lobin Hembram were unable to help the BJP win. Similarly, Kamlesh Singh, who had won the last election, was given a ticket by the party for the Hussainabad seat, but he lost as well. In addition, leaders from other parties who lost the election were offered tickets for a few other seats.

Nineteen of the twenty-five ST chairs had new faces on them.

The state has set aside a total of 28 seats for scheduled tribes. This year, the BJP ran for 25 of these seats. Only one seat was won by the party, despite fielding fresh candidates for 19 of these seats. Champai Soren, who joined the BJP from the JMM, also holds that seat. The BJP had won two seats in the most recent election.

The national leaders were given the command.

In the assembly elections that followed the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP delegated Jharkhand's leadership to its seasoned national leaders. They oversaw the entire election campaign, however the party's results fell short of expectations.
