Jharkhand Chunav 2024: There is now a close race for nine seats in Santhal Pargana. In addition to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Assembly Speaker Rabindranath Mahato's reputation is on the line.
Jharkhand Chunav 2024: in Jharkhand, Deoghar: Since Santhal Pargana is seen to hold the key to power in Jharkhand, all parties are running in this year's assembly elections with the goal of winning as many seats as possible from the district. This assembly has eighteen seats. Ten of these seats are general, seven are ST reserved, and one is SC reserved. In addition to the hot seats, all of the seats could be up for close competition in the 2024 elections.
The ruling party's direct rivalry with the BJP
The BJP will face off against the ruling JMM, Congress, and allied parties. About nine of the 18 seats in Santhal Pargana are up for grabs, making for an exciting race. There is a race for the Speaker of the Assembly on these seats in addition to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and his three ministers. Other candidates from the India Alliance folder include former minister Badal Patralekh, former minister Alamgir Alam's wife Nishat Alam, former minister Suresh Paswan, former BJP minister Dr. Louis Marandi (now in JMM), Pradeep Yadav, and former minister Stephen Marandi.
However, Gamaliel Hembram, a grassroots BJP leader, has prepared to take on the Chief Minister from the NDA folder in Barhet. In Jamtara, Sita Soren (BJP) will put up a fierce fight against Minister Irfan Ansari (Congress); in Mahagama, Ashok Bhagat, a former MLA, is prepared to put up a fierce fight against Minister Deepika Pandey Singh; in Pakur, Azhar Islam (AJSU) is prepared to put up a fierce fight against Nishat Alam; and in Madhupur, Ganga Narayan Singh of the BJP is prepared to put up a fierce battle against Minister Hafizul. In Jama,
In Dumka, former BJP MP Sunil Soren is preparing to face Basant Soren, while the BJP has put Suresh Murmu in the race against JMM's Dr. Louis Marandi. In contrast, former minister Suresh Paswan and two-term incumbent BJP MLA Narayan Das are facing off in Deoghar.
Dealing with sabotage is difficult for both the India Alliance and the NDA.

In the assembly elections, the candidates who did not receive tickets in Santhal Pargana have become rebels. They are expressing opinions outside of the company. There is a period of coaxing and pouting. It will be difficult for both the India Alliance and the NDA to cope with their party's rebels. Sulking and enticing have gotten so out of hand that Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma
must visit every home. Whether it is Nala or Jamtara, Dumka or Jama, Godda or Poraiyahat or Mahagama, Madhupur or Deoghar, Rajmahal or Littipara, the candidates from both categories are becoming a hindrance .
Hemant Soren chose the seat for himself in 2014 after it had been in the JMM's account since the beginning. He was running against Hemlal Murmu from the BJP in the 2014 elections, and the JMM won by 24087 votes (17.8% vote share). In the 2009 elections, Hemlal Murmu won this seat by 20318 votes (20% vote share) on the JMM ticket. Then, the BJP
came in fourth. Simultaneously, Hemant Soren faced off against Simon Malto of the BJP during the 2019 elections. With 25740 votes (18.7% of the vote), JMM had won this election. This time, Simon Malto quit the BJP because he was upset over not receiving the ticket. The BJP faces the risk of sabotage in this seat, but Hemant will face Gamaliel head-to-head.
Assembly of Madhupur (General Seat)
One of the candidates for this seat is Hafizul Hasan, a minister in the Jharkhand government. Ganga Narayan Singh has been put forward by the BJP to challenge Hafizul this time. One could argue that this is an instance of anti-incumbency. However, sabotage is a problem for the BJP. Many candidates, including Raj Paliwar, a former minister, are upset that the party did not provide a ticket. JMM's Haji Hussain won by 20468 votes (13.9% of the vote) in the 2009 assembly elections. In this election, the BJP came in third. Then, Abhishek Anand Jha was handed a ticket by the BJP. In the elections of 2014, Raj Paliwar of
By 6884 votes, or 3.5% of the vote, the BJP won. Then, Haji Hussain came in second. However, Hafizul Hasan of JMM won by 23069 votes (10.1% vote share) in the 2019 elections. In this election, Raj Paliwar of BJP lost. Ganga Narayan Singh placed third on the AJSU ticket. Ganga Narayan Singh has been given the BJP ticket for the 2024 elections. In addition, Ziaul Haq, also known as Tarzan, is running on a BSP ticket, raising the prospect of a triangular contest between the JMM and BJP.
