Train Accident: West Bengal has experienced another train accident. Lalgola Express collided with two cars at a North 24 Parganas railway gate in Khardah.


Train Accident | Manoranjan Singh, Barrackpore: In West Bengal, there has been another train disaster. At a closed level crossing (railway gate) in the North 24 Parganas area between Khardah and Sodpur station, Hazarduari Express struck two vehicles, one of which was a Scorpio.

This train is also known to passengers as Lalgola Express. This incident took place on Sunday night. The incident has resulted in injuries to two passengers inside the vehicle. The exact number of injuries, though, has not yet been verified. The cops from the Khardah police station arrived at the scene after learning about the incident.


The vehicle was traveling towards Rahda from BT Road.

According to the police, an automobile was traveling from BT Road in the direction of Rahda. In the North 24 Parganas area, another car crossed the level crossing next to Khardah station. Both drivers ignored the railroad signal and continued until they arrived at the railroad line. On the other hand, because the signal was green, the railway gate was closed.

An accident occurred close to Khardah station.

Abruptly, the Hazarduari Express, also known as the Down Lalgola Express, began to move forward from the Khardah station. The automobile next to the gate was then struck by the train. A second close parked automobile just managed to get away. But as a result of the train and first car colliding, the second car also moved out of its original position.


A section of the vehicle was totally wrecked.

Fearing a serious mishap, the train was halted right away. The rear window and a portion of the automobile that was struck by the train were badly damaged. There was not much damage to the second car. The train remained there for a while because of the incident. The train was later dispatched.


Train filed a formal complaint against the driver.

Railway has reported that the Down Hazarduari Express was heading towards Khardah at 8:40 p.m. on Sunday. Two cars abruptly began to cross the railroad tracks against the traffic signal. The railway has filed a formal complaint in this regard. The train remained still for a while following the event. Later, Khardah station saw the departure of Hazarduari Express.
