Jharkhand News: Voters in this Lok Sabha seat are demanding a train stop, and the boycott of the vote is causing worry in the administration.

Jharkhand News: Voting at two booths in the Rajmahal Lok Sabha constituency has been boycotted by villagers. The administration is panicking as a result of this. The villagers will not cast ballots.

Rajmahal, Deep Singh: In the Rajmahal block of the Rajmahal Lok Sabha constituency in Santhal Pargana, Jharkhand, villagers refused to cast their ballots at Government Middle School Inayatpur booths 176 and 177. On Saturday, voting was scheduled to begin at 7:00 am, but no voter showed up at the polls. Subsequently, several voters apparently gave in to pressure from the government.

An administration in Rajmahal, Jharkhand, is alarmed by a boycott of voting

The administration was in a frenzy as soon as word of the vote boycott arrived. LRDCC Vimal Kumar, BDO Uday Kumar Sinha, SDPO Vimlesh Kumar Tripathi, SDO Kapil Kumar, General Observer Saurav Pahari, and Teenpahar Police Station in-charge Mo Shahrukh arrived at the location. They conversed with the locals. Everyone urged the locals to take part in this magnificent celebration of democracy. Make use of your voting rights.

Administrative officers' appeals are unsuccessful

The locals were unaffected by the appeal made by administrative officials. They stated unequivocally that although there is a guarantee during elections that the Rajmahal-Teenpahar TR passenger train will stop at Murali halt, this promise is promptly forgotten. These promises of time will come to naught. The villagers will not cast ballots until the train stops at this stop.

Villagers alleged that the administration would not allow them to abstain from voting.

In contrast, Gopinath Mandal, a government worker who traveled from Bokaro to his hamlet to cast a ballot, did so at the poll alongside his family. Only 76 of the 1036 voters at booth number 176 cast ballots until 11 a.m., whereas 527 voters total at booth number 177, 14 of whom exercised their right to vote. Although no voter is showing up at the polls, the government is disputing the claim of a boycott. The villagers claim that voting is being coerced out of those connected to the administration. It is not a common voter who is voting.

Claim of beginning voting process without election agent

Kamal Kumar, a political party booth agent at number 176, claims that the candidate appointed him as the election agent. Election agents are present when voting begins, but due to the current vote boycott situation, the administration managed to complete the voting process without their presence. This does not follow the guidelines. There has been a complaint lodged with the election official in attendance.

New voters are torn between joy and grief.

The first-time voters in Inayatpur and Harchandpur are ecstatic about their upcoming election. Their parents' decision to abstain from voting is the root of their issue. They are unable to defy their parents' and the villagers' requests in such a circumstance. This is the cause that is impeding their desire to cast their first ballot.
