Jharkhand News: One of the Naxalites was killed by burning alive after they destroyed the cable laying company's container.


 

Jharkhand News: Armed Naxalites reportedly raised a commotion late at night at a location known as Dulli on the McCluskieganj-Chama route. Numerous cars were pulled over, and the occupants were physically assaulted. A freight container was stopped and set on fire in the interim.


Ranchi: Late on Tuesday night, Maoists in the Khalari-McCluskieganj neighborhood of Ranchi detonated a shipping container. As a result, the individual seated within the container burned to death. On Wednesday morning, a police crew arrived at the scene after learning of the event. According to Ranchi SSP Chandan Sinha, there has been information received regarding a criminal occurrence.The police are investigating the situation . Ranchi is roughly 60 miles away from the scene of the tragedy.


Preliminary reports state that late last night, at a location called Dulli on the McCluskieganj-Chama route, armed Naxalites caused a disturbance. Numerous cars were pulled over, and the occupants were physically assaulted. A freight container was stopped and set on fire in the interim. A guy sleeping inside the container was burnt alive, while the driver of the truck reportedly escaped the scene. It is reported that the firm that is installing optical fiber in the region owns this container.


The McCluskieganj police station team, Rural SP Sumit Kumar Agarwal, and Vijay Singh, the in-charge of the Khalari police station, arrived at the location on Wednesday morning. This incident is suspected to be the work of the Maoist Naxalite team led by Ravindra Ganjhu. The Naxalites are thought to have orchestrated the incident in order to demand levy (extortion) from the corporation that laid the cable. Four trucks were set on fire by the Naxalites during their attack on the railway bridge construction siding in McCluskieganj approximately eight months prior. There can be no building in the area without the approval of the Naxalites, according to their rule.


A reward of Rs 20 lakh has also been set by Jharkhand Police for Naxal commander Ravindra Ganjhu, whose squad is suspected of being responsible for this atrocity. Additionally, the National Investigating Agency (NIA) has filed a case against him and is conducting an investigation.
